This was a great little gadget for plugging into your PC. It was basically a mouse mat but when you run the DrumX software it turned your mouse mat into a 16bit velocity sensitive set of drums! Awesome! I developed the PIC processor software that sat inside the pad you can see here. It was a total nightmare trying to squeeze in some very complicated programming into a very small chip! It was sold through Toys-R-Us if I remember correctly.
