This was when I worked for ATL (Agricultural Technology Ltd). It is a microprocessor based control system for feeding and milking cows! It's based around an Intel 8031 microprocessor and uses PIC processors for display, keyboard and output control. I wrote all the software and designed all the electronic circuits. Although the final product wasn't that glamorous, I enjoyed working at ATL and did so for many years. My time there was generally spent designing microprocessor based systems and writing the embedded code that breathed life into them! Good Fun!
